WELCOME TO THE HIVE
It's a long journey to Kulen and you’re paralyzed for all of it. The parasites aren't very delicate about carrying you there and you may get prodded with the odd pincer, but they diligently protect you from any external threats so you arrive relatively unharmed.
They carry you into a series of tunnels and into the belly of the hive where they lay you down on the ground. You lie there, unable to move or speak as more of the parasites converge on you, chittering excitedly and smelling you with their antennae. As the paralysis starts to wear off, they roughly and enthusiastically help you up and guide you through the tunnels, excitedly showing you around.
Eventually, you'll meet a parasite with human features who will give you a stilted, but genuine welcome. Apparently you are a special guest who has been brought here to help celebrate their beloved queen's first ever ascension day! While you're here, they want to learn as much about YOU and your traditions as they can so they can make this the greatest party ever.
The parasites implore you to eat their human cooking which is mostly composed of various things (both edible and not) that they've deep fried. They worked very hard and they will be very offended if you don't finish it. They also invite you to contribute to their cave paintings which are entirely composed of parasites doing parasite things.
During your stay, you'll likely run into other monsters who've been replaced by doppelgangers. Maybe some of them have been here for a while. Maybe others have just turned up.
Your quarters are dark and maybe a little cramped given that you're sharing them with a whole bunch of insectoid creatures and maybe one or two monsters. Other than that, they're relatively comfortable.
Settle in and make yourself at home. You'll be here for a while.
Eisuke Hondou | Detective Conan
[Just waking up in a strange place was one thing. Confusing and scary, but still something Eisuke could deal with with time. Being kidnapped by bugs and unable to move, though? Yeah no, he wasn't exactly dealing with that very well at all. As such, the second Eisuke was even remotely able to move he ended up doing a sort of half scramble, half dragging himself away from the bugs that surrounded him while screaming.
Someone might want to deal with this.]
2. Might not be wise to eat that (Anywhere from February 14 to 19)
"That's really not something people eat..." [Eisuke was currently trying to get the bugs to realize that no, the deep fried something he was being encouraged to eat really wasn't something he could eat. Desperate for backup, he was glancing around, hoping that someone would help him out.]
3. Wildcard
If you want something else, just PM me. Or just drop a surprise, either works.
2 Unwise Food Choices... Also; the child can stop time for 4 minutes, to explain ahaha
From the front she just looks like a kid on stilts, so. Small fortunes there. But Reira can briefly be seen peeking in on the mess before something...Odd happens.
First off, she seems to have moved just somewhat- like a freeze frame, or similar.
But also, he'll notice that the deepfried...Something has been replaced with a more edible deep fried thing. Might still be a plant that isn't typically deep fried, mind...but hey, it's edible.
Also Reira has some stupid grin on her face as she makes a 'shh' motion, the inedible piece in her hands.
...HAH?!?!]
Re: 2 Unwise Food Choices... Also; the child can stop time for 4 minutes, to explain ahaha
...It had been replaced with something entirely different, and more edible looking. Looking around, he finally noticed the oddly tall kid holding the piece that had definitely been in his possession before.
At the very least, he was quick to take the hint and eat the new deep fried thing before any of the bugs noticed. It wasn't good, but hopefully this would satisfy them.]
"...Who are you?" [Nope, not asking about the swap.]

Mnh-
I'm Reira! [She introduces easily. ...And just so it's not awkward-] ...Who're you?
sorry if the icon gets messed up just testing dw tools extension out
"How did you get here? I didn't see you before you just showed up."
[It would seem he was still new enough to not know about a lot of things. Like magic.
At least he was trying to not talk about the food swap, just to be sure the bugs would let him be.]
laughs, all good
['Like This' is not much of a demonstration. What with the limits of the magic, most monsters- short of followers of Elias- aren't privy to what goes on when Reira stops time. As far as Eisuke can see, Reira just blips from existence to move a foot away.] See?
[No Reira that really wasn't an explanation.]
Re: laughs, all good
[From Eisuke's perspective, teleporting was really the best explanation for what just happened. Stopping time wasn't something he'd normally consider unless it was specifically mentioned.
Actually, maybe playing the 'new to town' card would get him a better explanation.]
"I'm still new, so I don't know how you did that. Is that something all monsters can do?" [Does he have to worry about teleporting monsters now?]
no subject
[How explanatory.] Just me, and Marco. Elias taught us how to do it- I just stopped time.
[Stopped time...of course...because that's simple...]

And after a pause, apparently coming to terms with this...]
"Who's Elias?" [Did no one tell Eisuke about Elias? He'd heard about the Fog God, yes, but apparently not enough about Elias.]
no subject
what like its hardAnyway.] Mnh- he's someone fighting the Fog God. Everyone calls him the 4th God but...
[She shakes her head.] Mnh, he's not a god. He's a lot stronger than any monster, but that doesn't make someone a 'God' I don't think.
He's my friend.

...But then again, Eisuke had a bit of reason to be wary of any gods or godlike beings, given that a god had apparently brought him to Ryslig in the first place.]
"...What does Elias do to fight against the Fog God?" [Even if Eisuke was wary, he was still curious enough to want to know.]
no subject
...Though he can be dumb about it... [This is one of his priests saying this... Great sign.]
He makes a lot of really big hits, but he doesn't always think about who would get caught in the middle. Mostly right now, I try to make sure he remembers to think about that.
[It can be easy to just set your eyes ahead instead of on what's around it, sometimes.] But so far, the fog's fog has been really patchy, so that's a good sign I think...
no subject
"...Big hits?" [Eisuke wanted some context for what exactly Elias had done, given that description he had just been given. Just to be aware of what might happen and stay on the safe side.]
no subject
...The problem is that whenever he does it, a bunch of people normally get caught in the middle...and maybe they don't get hurt right away, but they might end up acting different for a while, or just feeling different, and then they have to handle all the things they did like that... [It's hard not to outright confess to the thing she sort of indirectly caused recently, while explaining this. But, she sighs.] ...Not even the people in the fight, just people who were in the wrong place...
...So I make sure he doesn't do that sort of thing anymore, [She mutters, frowning.]
